Project management has always been core to my career, whether organising events, managing teams, or assessing risks and mitigation planning. I love learning about company culture, people and processes. This forms the basis for the purpose of projects, what defines a successful objective and how best to deliver work.

While projects don’t always go exactly according to plan, it shouldn’t stop you from creating a plan, understanding dependencies, and making an informed decision about how to move forward. There is a happy medium where we can develop a good plan and stick to it, while adapting to the unforeseen.

My approach to project management is to apply leading PMO methodologies in an agile way that is appropriate and beneficial to organisations. Understanding the business is key to setting the right scope, assigning resources, planning the schedule and staying within budget. Details are just as important as execution.
